Our team of personal trainers at McDowell Wellness Center are highly experienced and qualified, with a minimum of 15 years in the fitness industry. They can assist you in achieving your health and wellness goals, including:

- Sport-specific training
- Injury prevention and rehabilitation
- Managing health issues such as arthritis, low back pain, and diabetes.
We welcome requests for specific trainers and will do our best to accommodate your preferences when scheduling appointments. Walk-ins are also welcome and will be seen by the first available trainer. Please note that for individuals between the ages of 12 and 15, a parent or guardian must be present on the premises during the time services are provided. Personal training is not available for individuals under the age of 12.
At McDowell Wellness Center, we offer a range of personalized training options to suit your needs and budget. Our rates are as follows:
Individual Visits (pre-paid):
- 30 minutes – $30
- 60 minutes – $50
Packages (pre-paid):
- 12 visits – 30 minutes each – $210
- 24 visits – 30 minutes each – $408
- 12 visits – 60 minutes each – $420
- 24 visits – 60 minutes each – $816

Karla Curtsinger
- Bachelor’s degree in health science with a fitness and wellness management concentration in special needs adaptation and sports.
- TABATA instructor and Personal Trainer.
- Specializes in special needs populations, seniors, sport specific training for groups and/or individuals of any age
- Strong background working with physical therapy and spine therapy patients as they are referred for phase III therapy (i.e. exercise/activity continued after clinical therapy treatments are completed)
- Highly trained in aquatics exercise and the benefits it offers
