Registration is open for McDowell Marlins Swim Pre-Team. The program runs through May 28, 2026.

Pre-Team meets @ 4:00-4:45pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Requirements to Register: Child must be ages 4-12 years old and able to swim 25 yards independently.
Equipment needed: Swimsuit (one piece) or trunks (swim jammers), goggles, towel, fins recommended*

Feel free to stoOnce restrictions are lifted, McDowell Minnows is a non-competitive swimming program designed for children ages 6 through 12 who have completed swimming lessons but are not yet ready to join a full-time swim team. The program aims to introduce young swimmers to the basics of competitive swimming, including drills, fundamental techniques, and racing strategies. To be eligible for the program, children must be able to swim freestyle for 25 yards and be able to perform the backstroke.
